BoyleSports to sponsor the Saturday of the Galway Summer Festival
Deal marks the first time Irish bookmaker and July’s seven-day festival have teamed up

BoyleSports has been announced as the new title sponsor for the Saturday of the 153rd Galway Races.
The deal will see the Dundalk-based operator sponsor the first three races on the card, the Maiden Hurdle at 2pm, the title race, the Handicap Hurdle, at 2:30pm and Irish EBF Maiden at 3:05pm, as well as the finale, the Irish EBF Mares Flat Race at 5:55pm.
It is the first time that BoyleSports has teamed up with Galway Races, with the company having sponsored the Irish Grand National since 2014.
Leon Blanche, head of communications at BoyleSports, said: “It’s a real privilege and honour for all of us at BoyleSports to further enhance our commitment to Irish horseracing by signing up as title sponsors on the Saturday of the Galway Racing Festival.
“The Galway Summer Festival is synonymous with horseracing in Ireland and it’s a very exciting time to be teaming up with them as the traditional throng of racegoers return to descend on Ballybrit.”
Michael Moloney, CEO of Galway Races, added: “BoyleSports have been a fantastic supporter of Irish racing and we’re delighted to welcome them onboard as the title sponsor for the Saturday of our Summer Festival.
“They’ve made a huge investment in Irish horseracing over the last few years and to have them as part of our race week programme is a great addition to the week.”
