BoyleSports completes acquisition of Peruvian operator Timberazo
Irish bookmaker also expands UK retail presence by snapping up nine LewisBet shops in Manchester

BoyleSports has completed the acquisition of Peruvian operator Timberazo as it looks to expand its global presence.
The Irish bookmaker had been in the process of completing the purchase of its JV partner in Peru, with that undisclosed deal now coming to fruition.
Timberazo was established in 2016 and operates out of the Peruvian capital of Lima.
Boylesports, now under the leadership of former William Hill head Vlad Kaltenieks, is expanding its global footprint, with plans to open an office in South Africa and an approach in the Ontario online market.
The traditionally retail-focused operator appointed Kaltenieks as CEO in February, an eventual replacement for former CEO Mark Kemp who left in July 2022 before becoming the CEO of DAZN BET.
EGR also understands that BoyleSports has completed the acquisition of nine LewisBet retail shops in the Greater Manchester area.
Speaking to EGR, Kaltenieks said: “We have completed the acquisition process [with Timberazo].
“There is an experienced team on the ground and we are now working on bringing our proprietary technology platform, which will deliver strong and localised product to the market,” he added
