Boylesports to launch casino and in-play apps next month
Irish operator increases monthly in-running football markets from 300 to more than 3,000 ahead of mobile and desktop launches
Boylesports is to launch an in-play sports betting microsite and has increased its in-running markets tenfold ahead of a complete re-skinning of its mobile and desktop sites.
The Irish operator expanded its monthly in-play football markets from 350 in January 2013 to more than 3,000 earlier this month, while also increasing the number of sports on offer to 25.
The move comes ahead of the firm launching a new ‘live betting’ microsite and dedicated mobile apps for iOS and Androids devices for in-play betting next month.
It is also adding a Playtech-powered mobile casino product next month, meaning the operator will have mobile sites across all verticals.
All in-play sites include the operator’s live streaming service for UK, Irish, USA, Dubai and Latin American horse racing which was launched in September.
Boylesport’s Keith O’Loughlin (pictured) told eGaming Review that more than 50% of in-play bets are now placed on mobile devices.
“When we launched the additional football content, we took over 2,000 bets over the first hour without any promotion, showing our customers are really keen on our product range,” O’Loughlin said.
“The new site will give our customers a really innovative and clean interface to be able to access the games they want to bet on easily and quickly.”
Boylesports is also undertaking a complete re-skin of its mobile and desktop sites, set to be completed early next year after a beta launch to a select group of customers in December, which O’Loughlin said would allow the company to “better showcase” the new products to customers.
“We invested heavily in infrastructure in 2012 to give customers a solid consistent experience, and this has paid dividends giving us one of the highest uptimes and best page-load times in the industry,” O’Loughlin added.
“This then led to our focus on adding new products for customers in 2013 and developing new apps and online sites to showcase everything we do.”
