Bwin boosts digital marketing capabilities with Fresh8 deal
Operator to push targeted ads across major German and Austrian sports news sites

Bwin has announced a deal with marketing firm Fresh8 Gaming that will see the operator ramp up its digital marketing in Germany and Austria.
The deal will see bwin adverts pushed automatically across major publishers in the region including Bild and other big German sports news sites.
Fresh8 said its technology automatically creates optimised ads based on operators’ event and CRM data.
“This minimises the time and overhead of producing, and distributing, digital marketing assets by hand,” the provider said.
A bwin spokesperson said the firm differentiated itself through marketing and deep customer understanding.
“We analyse target group behaviour and generate as many touchpoints as possible across channels in the fans’ way to match day,” the spokesperson said.
“Thanks to the partnership with Fresh8 we are able to bring this difference home in real time and personalized for our customers. It also enables us to do this automatically and on a large scale across all our advertising channels.”
The bwin deal is the third GVC group partner for Fresh8 which also has deals with Ladbrokes and Coral.
Fresh8 CEO Andrew Sharland added: “We are thrilled to enter the German and Austrian market with the region’s market leader.
“Such an iconic brand backing our product and technology is a big win for us. They really understand how automation in marketing departments can be the next big driver of revenues for their business.”
Fresh8 won the Marketing and PR Provider award at last month’s EGR B2B Awards.
