Bwin has sharpened its focus on Spanish-speaking markets with a new casino content deal with Spanish developer MGA.
The GVC-owned brand will offer a selection of of MGA’s video bingo games and slot games on its bwin.es site.
“We’re delighted to add MGA content to the GVC Group’s games library,” said Andy Whitworth, head of content for GVC.
“It is an excellent addition to our portfolio, especially for our clients in Spain and Latin America.”
GVC said earlier this year it was is plotting an “aggressive” expansion of its offering in Latin American markets, after building a solid foundation in Brazil.
“We are now getting to a point where I would be more confident about letting [the executive team] tackle a couple of the other Latin American markets, and aggressively as well, because ultimately we want to be the brand leader in all of Latin America and not just Brazil,” said group CEO Kenny Alexander.
MGA’s new technologies director José Antonio Giacomelli, added: “Perfection and innovation are our calling card. With each game, we continue to implement new developments and improvements in all our product line, in both mobile and desktop versions.”
GVC has also been pushing bwin casino as a standalone vertical in recent months, in a bid to acquire a new type of customer.
