Bwin extends MotoGP sponsorship
Operator will have a presence at five grands prix, remaining title sponsor for races in Spain and the Czech Republic

Bwin, party has agreed a two-year extension to its partnership with MotoGP, giving the bwin brand a presence at five of the sport’s grands prix until 2015.
The agreement marks an extension to a relationship dating back to 2004, and will see bwin confirmed as the title sponsor for grands prix in Spain and the Czech Republic. The operator will also have a smaller presence at events at Silverstone in the UK and at Misano and Mugello in Italy.
Bwin.party CEO Norbert Teufelberger described MotoGP as “one of the most exciting sports in the world” and “a perfect fit” for the brand.
The MotoGP sponsorship is one of a number held by the bwin brand, which holds agreements with football clubs including Real Madrid in Spain and Manchester United in England. bwin.party also sponsors a number of basketball events via an agreement with the sport’s regulatory body FIBA.
“I am sure that this new two-year agreement will last several more, as the success of this partnership has more than satisfied both parties,” said Pau Seracanta, commercial managing director of MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports.
