
Bwin lands Spanish football broadcast deal for 80 countries
Bwin has won the broadcasting rights for the Primera and Segunda Divisións, Spanish football's two top leagues, for 80 countries including 30 in Europe.

BWIN HAS secured the broadcasting rights for the Primera and Segunda Divisións, Spanish football’s two top leagues.
The live-streaming deal, which will last until 2012, includes rights for 80 countries including 30 in Europe.
Bwin co-chief executive Manfred Bodner said: “Bwin.com offers an unprecedented choice of different sports, ranging from football to roller hockey. We are at the leading edge of the market and continue to expand our line-up, as we’ve done now with the Primera División games.”
Bwin already broadcasts games including the German first and second Bundesliga football divisions and the UEFA Champions League qualification rounds, as well as the Italian Serie A and B and qualification games for the 2010 football World Cup.
In other Spanish football news today, William Hill signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Primera Liga team Malaga CF, the nearest team to the British community on the Costa del Sol and to the bookmaker’s Gibraltar head office.
Other football sponsorship deals by egaming brands recently include official betting partner ties between Sportingbet and Portsmouth football club, British betting exchange Betfair and Manchester United, and Asian sportsbook 188Bet’s deal with Chelsea FC.
Arsenal football club also signed a deal with Bettorlogic to feature its Player Pro tool on the Arsenal FC homepage, following bookmaker Coral’s deal with FSB Technology to launch a similar analytical tool.
