Bwin signs Juventus deal
Three-year partnership sees operator named as official gaming and betting partner of Serie A club

Bwin.party has agreed a deal with Juventus which will see it become the official online gaming and betting partner of the Serie A football club.
The three-year partnership will see bwin integrated in Juventus’ digital and social platform with online and offline co-branding activities and stadium branding also part of the sponsorship package.
The deal is bwin’s sixth with a professional football club after signing previous deals with Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Olympique de Marseille and RSC Anderlecht. The operator hinted at further partnerships for the 2013-14 season.
Commenting on the new deal bwin.party CEO Norbert Teufelberger said the operator was “proud” to partner with Juventus. “Working with the greatest names in football is all part of our strategy to offer customers a premium gaming experience with great and unique content,” he said.
The news follows Q2 results for bwin.party where it announaced a similar fall in revenue to Q1 figures with all verticals showing year-on-year decline. However, the firm has announced the launch of new products and plans to enter the regulated New Jersey market in the coming months.
“The process to optimise the shape and size of our business, with a greater focus on regulated and to-be-regulated markets, is on track and we remain focused on returning our business to growth,” Teufelberger said at the time of the trading update.
