Caesars debuts horseracing betting app
Sportsbook operator launches in partnership with NYRA Bets across Florida and Ohio with more states set to follow

Caesars Entertainment has launched a new horseracing account wagering app, Caesars Racebook, in partnership with NYRA Bets, the online betting platform of the New York Racing Association.
Initially, the Caesars Racebook will launch in Florida and Ohio, with more states set to follow later this year.
The app, which utilises NYRA Bets’ platform technology, features pari-mutuel betting and content from 250 racetracks both in the US and internationally.
The new app will also offer users additional features such as livestreaming, race replays and handicapping insights.
Tracks include Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course, Del Mar, Santa Anita and Keenelandas, as well as Caesars-operated tracks Harrah’s Hoosier Park, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Harrah’s Philadelphia and Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs.
Caesars Digital SVP and chief development officer Dan Shapiro welcomed the launch as an important milestone for the business, particularly in relation to the livestreaming of content for the first time on a Caesars app.
“Caesars Racebook is truly differentiated as the first horseracing advance deposit wagering app to include our award-winning Caesars Rewards loyalty program,” Shapiro said.
“We look forward to welcoming new horseracing customers and existing fans onto the platform and to working with NYRA Bets to grow horseracing as we deploy Caesars Racebook with plans to launch in about 30 states across the country,” he added.
In January, Caesars was confirmed as NYRA’s official sports betting partner in New York and the title sponsor of the NYRA Turf Triple Series at Belmont Park and Saratoga Racecourse.
“The new Caesars Racebook app, which utilises the NYRA Bets interface and technology, will expand access to world-class horseracing now and in the future,” NYRA Bets general manager Matt Feig said.
“The partnership between NYRA Bets and Caesars is a win for horseracing, its stakeholders, and countless racetracks around the world,” Feig added.
Caesars also serves as the host of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association’s National Handicapping Championship at Horseshoe Las Vegas and has announced plans to build and operate a Harrah’s racetrack and casino in Columbus, Nebraska.
