Casino Planet launches mobile slots
Neomobile brand launches smartphone-specific offering for Italian market via provider Playyoo.
Casino Planet, the egaming brand of Italian operator Neomobile, has launched its first mobile-specific slots for the Italian market.
The operator, which already offers mobile blackjack and roulette among other games, is poised to go live with titles including ‘Il Regno di Poseidone’ (the Kingdom of Poseidon) via software provider Playyoo.
Following its receipt of a dot.it slots authorisation last month, Casino Planet launched a number of online slots, and hopes to follow this with 10 smartphone slots by April.
The slots from Playyoo, which was acquired by Probability last July, are available on iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
The Casino Planet deal comes one week after the AIM-listed mobile specialist announced a mobile slots deal with Lottomatica for the dot.it market.
Probability chief executive Charles Cohen told eGaming Review: “We are really excited as this is the first fruit of our acquisition of Playyoo last summer, and we’re very pleased to be the first to offer regulated slots in Italy.”
Casino Planet managing director Francesco Postiglione said: “The players in the slot games arena In Italy are growing in number and more and more demanding.
“The contribution from the newly launched slots is very encouraging and there will be opportunities for further growth. We expect to expand our exclusive offering to more customers in Italy during 2013 and are confident about making significant progress in the period,” he added.
