Casumo nets new head of product
Operator hires ex-Pragmatic Play and former LeoVegas UX head Daniel Blackmore to replace Ichiban-bound Chris Scicluna

Casumo has recruited former Pragmatic Play exec Daniel Blackmore as head of product.
The announcement comes after Casumo’s previous head of product, Chris Scicluna, left the firm to join start-up igaming company Ichiban Ventures as its new CPO.
Blackmore joins Casumo from slots developer Pragmatic Play, where he has served as head of product from April 2019.
Prior to joining Pragmatic Play, Blackmore spent time as head of UX with LeoVegas between December 2015 and January 2017, as well as four months as interim marketing director for Scientific Games in 2015.
Blackmore will be responsible for strategy and delivery of multiple product verticals for Casumo across all of the group’s brands.
Blackmore said: “I would say that, in addition to what I consider to be some of the strongest UX and product design in the industry, Casumo’s unique and innovative gamification expertise really sets it apart from the crowd.
“The team is always challenging itself to be a cut above the rest in what it delivers for its players,” he added.
On LinkedIn, Blackmore went on to state that he was looking to expand the product team at Casumo by hiring product managers across player account management, sports and casino.
