Casumo unveils "platform of the future"
Innovative casino operator overhauls Casumo.com with a complete redesign and updated user interface

Online casino operator Casumo has overhauled its desktop website to create what the Malta-based firm describes as a “platform of the future”.
Changes to the website include a visual redesign to the user interface and layout, and a new dashboard to provide an overview of games, valuables and campaigns.
Speaking with eGaming Review, Casumo co-founder and designer Kim Larsen said the main idea behind the redesign was to make the interface “invisible” and allow more screen estate for the game.
“We’ve been through endless prototypes and concepts, working hard to unify the experience visually, but also technically,” Larsen said. “There’s been a lot of time put in to every single detail which, in turn, gives you more freedom down the road.”
“This allows us to create completely new concepts frictionless, and that was the initial goal,” he added.
Casumo was formed in early 2012 by veterans of Scandinavia-focused egaming firms, with the launch of the social-gaming inspired Casumo.com site on its own technology platform later that year.
The product which the company describes as a ‘casino adventure’ contains elements of social casino and real-money gaming and Larsen said the operator plans to release additional features in the future. “This is a small step in what we see is the future of casino, and a first version of it,” he said.
“It’s something we will improve on as we go along and we have many exciting features and concepts we’re working on that I can’t speak of at this point,” Larsen added.
The operator recently signed a deal with new online casino provider Thunderkick to incorporate its full portfolio of eight games for Casumo.com including Turning Totems, Esqueleto Explosive and Toki Time.
