Catena Media acquires casino affiliate Stay Media
Online marketing firm agrees â¬3m deal for the Sweden-facing affiliate ahead of possible IPO
Egaming marketing company Catena Media has acquired Sweden-facing online casino affiliate Stay Media for a total sum of â¬3m as the firm eyes a potential public listing.
Under the terms of the deal Catena Media will acquire 100% of the Stay Media business including its online casino comparison portals freespins.se, mobilcasino.com and bonusjakt.com.
âWith the strategic acquisition of Stay Media we will strengthen our leading position in lead generation market for online casino and we achieve immediate synergies within our business to generate traffic to our partners,â Robert Andersson, CEO of Catena Media, said.
Catena Media made its debut appearance in eGaming Reviewâs annual Power Affiliates list earlier this year and in February acquired Netherlands- and Belgium-facing affiliate network LJFK.

Catena Media was founded in 2008 by Erik Bergman and Emil Thidell and currently has a staff headcount of over 40 people based in its Malta-based office.
