Centrebet launches Australia-wide $1,000 racing bet limit guarantee
William Hill’s newly relaunched brand widens minimum bet limit to cover all thoroughbred racing Down Under

William Hill Australia’s Centrebet brand has expanded its AU$1,000 (£601) minimum bet limit guarantee to cover thoroughbred horseracing held in all Australian states.
The newly relaunched brand’s pledge to lay bets to win at least $1,000 now covers country and provincial meetings across all states, having previously limited the guarantee to Queensland bush racing.
The voluntary minimum bet guarantee will start from tomorrow and apply from 9am on the day of each meeting thereon.
“Centrebet is a no frills site that specialises in having the best odds,” Tom Waterhouse, CEO of William Hill Australia, said.
“What we are offering is purely about the odds – Centrebet is the one stop shop for those looking to get set at the top of the market.
“If you are a professional punter, rails bookie looking to bet back, serious punter or have previously had your account restricted by a competitor, I encourage you to sign up to Centrebet and take us on.”
In addition to the $1,000 offer, Centrebet confirmed it will continue to lay at least $5,000 on Saturday metro races and $2,500 on non-metro thoroughbred racing.
Centrebet was relaunched last month by owner William Hill Australia after the operator decided to cease pursuing a single-brand strategy in the Australian online wagering market.
Hills opted instead to pitch Centrebet as a bookie for the more “serious” horseracing punter, promising to offer best prices and lay guaranteed stakes above and beyond regulatory requirements.
