Codere strikes new sponsorship deal with Monterrey Rayados
Operator’s logo will appear on home and away shirts of Mexican club when the new football season starts on 23 July

Codere has become the primary sponsor of Mexican football club Monterrey Rayados to upgrade the current arrangement between the two parties.
As part of the new agreement, Codere’s logo will now appear on the team’s home and away shirts as the company becomes the official betting partner of the club.
Rayados’ new shirt for next season with the Codere emblem splashed across it was officially released yesterday, during a friendly match against Guadalajara.
The new season begins on 23 July.
Last year, Rayados celebrated the 75th anniversary since the formation of the club.
Codere will also occupy a prominent place at the club’s stadium, in what will be called the Codere Suite.
The operator is headquartered in Spain and has an office in Italy, but it also has outlets across Latam, in Colombia, Panama, Uruguay and Argentina, as well as Mexico.
Codere first arrived in Mexico back in 1998 and has gained a leadership position in the regulated entertainment gaming offering in the country.
In Mexico alone, it currently has 95 gaming halls, 93 sports betting shops and nearly 21,500 gaming machines, prior to any Covid-19-related temporary closures.
This is in addition to its online gaming platform Codere MX, which offers sports betting and casino games.
Alberto Telias, CMO of Codere Online, said: “We are convinced that this long-term alliance between both companies will allow us to grow together and achieve important goals.
“We could not have found a better travel companion in our expansion journey in Mexico than the Rayados de Monterrey Football Club.”
In the coming months there will be new joint marketing ventures in order to cultivate an experience between the club’s supporters and Codere’s betting customers.
These activities will include stadium access, tickets to matches and VIP experiences.
