
Codere's Victoria Apuestas launches Racing Post card
Former William Hill joint venture partner Victoria Apuestas, Spain's largest retail bookmaker, has launched a race card with the UK's leading racing newspaper, the Racing Post.

FORMER William Hill joint venture partner Victoria Apuestas, Spain’s largest retail bookmaker, has launched a race card with the UK’s leading racing newspaper, the Racing Post.
The page ready race-card service, which will be available in all of the company’s retail outlets, comprises card and form information for horse and greyhound racing, and includes the Racing Post’s data analysis and ratings content.
Victoria Apuestas central operations manager Peter Lucas said: “Victoria prides itself in bringing its customers the best information and technology that the industry has to offer. We are very pleased to be in partnership with such a recognised brand. We look forward to the other new innovations and developments that the Post has planned in the near future.”
Victoria Apuestas is owned by gaming giant Codere, a Spanish multinational with land-based gaming interests in Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Panama and Uruguay. Codere bought the company from William Hill in January.
The Racing Post has revenue of £50m, and publishes a daily newspaper and three weekly titles. It began syndicating data and other content last year, and has clients including Victor Chandler, William Hill and The Times newspaper.
