ComeOn Group inks deals with two Maltese sports teams
Operator links up with football club and aquatics team in the Sliema as it expands sponsorship portfolio
ComeOn Group has signed multi-year partnerships with two Sliema-based sports teams with a view to cementing its foothold in Malta.
The operator has penned deals with both the Sliema Aquatic Sports Club and Sliema Wanderers FC.
ComeOn Group’s first Maltese base was in Sliema, with the firm now based in St. Julian’s.
The football side was founded in 1909 and is the most successful team in Malta, while Sliema Aquatics Sports Club was founded in 1912 and again is the country’s most successful.
Daniela Vella, ComeOn Group COO, said: “We are excited to have partnered with two sports clubs that have the same values at heart as ComeOn Group does. For us, this was the natural step to join forces with two established clubs that do a wealth of good for their local communities”
Frank Testa, Sliema ASC club president, added: “We are very excited to start this collaboration with ComeOn Group. Our principles converge in many ways, with energy, determination and positivity being an integral part of both ComeOn Group’s and Sliema ASC’s identity.”
The deal starts on 31 May.
