ComeOn! CEO stands down ahead of UK push
Operator kicks-off search for new chief exec as Hans Martin Nakkim moves to new director role

Nordics-facing operator ComeOn! is on the search for a new chief executive with Hans Martin Nakkim (pictured right) standing down to take up a role as a director with the firm, eGaming Review has learned.
Nakkim, who joined the Malta-based firm in October 2012 and became CEO three months later, will now focus his time on building ComeOn!’s white-label business and B2B partnerships.
Speaking to eGR, Nakkim said the firm was focused on becoming a “sustainable and bigger player” and was now in the process of looking for a successor that could offer marketing expertise and strong leadership qualities.
Nakkim’s decision to stand down comes as the operator prepares to ramp-up its presence in the UK market with the launch of a new white-label casino and the expected reintroduction of its ComeOn! sportsbook, which was withdrawn last year due to Great Britain’s new licensing regime.
ComeOn! was forced to pull its Curacao-licensed sportsbook while it waits for the Gambling Commission to license its SBTech-powered platform, which the firm said could take place in the next few months.
The operator is able to offer its Malta-licensed, NetEnt-powered casino in the UK after being granted a continuation permit from the Gambling Commission and Nakkim sees the UK as an important market for future growth.
“I think the next two years we will definitely see the biggest growth coming from the UK,” Nakkim said. “We will be launching a white-label casino towards the UK market very soon and we will also be making a big marketing investment.
“We have only really dealt with performance marketing in the UK so far, such as affiliates, but we will are looking to step that up and invest larger sums and I am confident the UK will deliver the biggest growth to our top line in next couple of years,” he added.
Last year ComeOn! signed a sponsorship deal with Liverpool Football Club and are now using the likes of Jordan Henderson (pictured left) in its television commercials in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
