Comtrade and Bally in strategic partnership
Deal set to accelerate Bally's entrance into the online market.

Slovenia-based solutions provider Comtrade has entered into a strategic partnership with Bally Technologies, with a focus on the interactive arm of the gaming technology manufacturer.
The agreement is set to accelerate the provision of Bally’s slots content to an online audience, and follows the US-based company’s appointment of Michael Probert as European general manager for interactive.
Bally, whose chief executive Richard Haddrill was named chairman of the American Gaming Association earlier this month, is one of a handful of applicants for a service provider licence in Nevada, as the Silver State begins to assess egaming licence applications following the passage of legislation in December.
Comtrade director of gaming AleÅ¡ Gornjec said: “This just goes to show that the gap is closing between the online and land based industries. We believe that ComTrade’s experience and development strengths will accelerate Bally’s growth in the iGaming space, and we look forward to developing this relationship further.”
