Coral unveils revamped live casino studio
Ladbrokes Coral’s Nir Hakarmeli says the operator is aiming to bring live casino closer to its sports betting customers

Coral has announced the launch of a revamped Playtech-powered live casino studio which the brand says will help it “bring live casino closer” to its sportsbook customers.
The Coral Live Casino Studio was unveiled yesterday and includes a new user interface, improved audio visual quality and “bespoke” gaming products, with the studio also offering four blackjack tables and a roulette table.
“The collaboration strives to provide the very best casino experience in the industry, and is part of Coral’s strategic initiative to bring Casino Live closer to sports betting customers,” said Nir Hakarmeli, director of gaming operations for Ladbrokes Coral.
News of the launch comes after Coral streamed Cheltenham Festival races live via a live casino room, with the aim of tapping into the cross-over between gaming and the iconic horseracing festival.
The Cheltenham Room ran for the duration of the four-day event and featured dealers dressed in race goers outfits alongside racing expert Mark Grantham, who provided players with up-to-the second updates on upcoming races.
Commenting on this week’s launch, Kevin Kilminster, head of live casino innovation at Playtech, added: “Coral’s new purpose-built environment, in partnership with Playtech, takes full advantage of our new, next-generation live casino studio and comes complete with a series of bespoke, flagship gaming products, a specially designed VIP area and a fresh and modern design.
“We’re confident Coral players will love the new look and feel and experience the ultimate live casino offering on the market.”
