Dafabet seals first Spanish sponsorship agreement
La Liga new boys Cádiz CF secure two-year deal with Asian operator

Dafabet has inked a front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with newly promoted La Liga side Cádiz CF.
The two-season deal will see Dafabet afforded advertising opportunities on the club’s first team and training kits, as well as in-stadia branding.
The partnership marks Dafabet’s first step into football sponsorship in Spain following several relationships with UK clubs including Celtic and Norwich City.
Cádiz’s decision to onboard an online gambling operator as its principal partner follows the likes of Real Betis and UD Ibiza, even with the practice being potentially outlawed by the government’s Royal Decree.

John Cruces, Dafabet head of sponsorship, said: “We must congratulate Cádiz for their return to La Liga, and for those who represent our first steps in Spanish football.
“This alliance will help us to strengthen our global footprint, starting [with a] union with the fans,” he added.
Cádiz president Manuel Vizcaíno said: “[I am] proud that Cádiz is the club that opens the doors of Spain to Dafabet. [This partnership] will reinforce the internationalisation project of our brand.”
Last month, Dafabet secured its first ever cricket sponsorship agreement after striking partnerships with Sussex and Durham.
