
DraftKings and Genius Sports link up in major data deal
US giant and supplier seal multiple vertical partnership including data, streaming and fan engagement


DraftKings has partnered with Genius Sports to gain access to its full suite of official sportsbook data and content, including the NFL.
The major agreement will see the Boston-based operator leverage Genius Sports’ data solutions across a wealth of sports and it will also include livestreaming capabilities and fan engagement products.
In April 2021, Genius Sports became the official, exclusive distributor of real-time data for the NFL while DraftKings also became one of the NFL’s tri-exclusive sports betting partners.
Under the remit of the deal, DraftKings will become one of the first operators to tap into Genius Sports’ NFL solution.
Additionally, DraftKings will also deploy Genius Sports’ BetBuilder product across the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and major football competitions.
Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings chief business officer, said: “The mutually beneficial terms of this agreement allow us to leverage Genius’ technology for years to come.
“We are excited to expand on the capabilities of our products and provide new and exciting features for our customers like single-game parlays, while having confidence in the integrity of the data we utilise to fuel our offerings,” he added.
