DraftKings builds on BlueRibbon acquisition with Tel Aviv recruitment drive
US operator advertising to bolster engineering and product teams at jackpot marketing business

DraftKings has kicked off a hiring spree to build and develop the engineering and product teams of its freshly acquired jackpot marketing and gamification platform BlueRibbon.
A total of 11 jobs are available and based out of BlueRibbon’s Tel Aviv office, including roles in full-stack software engineering, product management and product design.
DraftKings bought BlueRibbon for an undisclosed fee earlier this month and the operator has committed to integrating the firm’s proprietary jackpot functionality across its product portfolio in the US.
BlueRibbon was founded in 2017 by former Playtech executives Amir Askarov and Dan Fischer and provides gamification tools that allow for personalised jackpot promotions for customers.
Askarov is CEO of the business and Fischer is CMO. Idan Fridman, formerly of Playtika, is CTO.
Former The Stars Group (TSG) CEO Rafi Ashkenazi previously served as a strategic adviser to the firm.
Earlier this week, DraftKings appointed former supermodel, environmental activist and philanthropist Gisele Bündchen as a special adviser to CEO Jason Robins and the DraftKings board of directors.
Bündchen will advise the operator on environment, social and governance (ESG) initiatives as it commits to fighting global sustainable development challenges including climate change.
