DraftKings signs virtual sports contract with Inspired Entertainment
Consumers will have access to 14 virtual sports variants in deal that requires minimal integration

DraftKings has partnered with Inspired Entertainment to produce a quick-to-market virtual sportsbook product with access to all Inspired games.
The V-Play Plug & Play will let DraftKings’ users play 14 virtual sports variants including basketball, football, horseracing and soccer.
The deal requires minimal integration to set the product live as quickly as possible and will be available via desktop and mobile.
Inspired COO Brooks Pierce said: “We are very excited to team up with DraftKings to bring virtual sports to their passionate fans.
“We are looking forward to working with DraftKings on bringing a continual stream of betting content to their customer base, especially at this time when there is limited live sports content available,” Pierce added.
With the recent shutdown of professional sports, interest in virtuals and novel betting markets has massively increased.
Nevada and New Jersey have allowed sportsbooks to take bets on a number of upcoming esports tournaments, including NASCAR’s new iRacing game.
Inspired recently launched an NFL legends offering officially licensed with the NFL Alumni. In the game, 11 teams of NFL legends go head-to-head in a single format.
