Endemol signs licensing deal with Ultimate Fighting Championship
Deal will see Endemol develop a series of branded slot games for Fertitta-owned fighting promotion agency.

Endemol Games UK has signed a brand licensing agreement to develop a series of slot games based on the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the media company has announced this morning.
Under the terms of the agreement Endemol will develop a series of slot games featuring current tournaments and 12 UFC fighters. The game will allow players to choose their favourite fighter to use as a “champion” while they play, and will feature video footage of UFC fights.
Zuffa, the parent company of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, is run by Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, who also own a 45% stake in Station casinos. The brothers are co-owners of online gaming company Fertitta Interactive, which acquired Cyberarts in October this year.
Lorenzo Fertitta said: “Endemol Games UK has an outstanding reputation for creating entertainment properties in the gaming sphere and they are the ideal partner to bring the UFC to life. We think UFC fans will love the opportunity to extend their interest into the gaming sphere.”
