Entain confirms double board departure
Mark Gregory and Vicky Jarman have stepped down from their positions with immediate effect at FTSE 100 operator

Entain has announced that Mark Gregory and Vicky Jarman have stepped down from their roles on the Entain board.
Gregory joined Entain as a non-executive director in March 2021 after an 18-year spell with Legal & General.
During his time with the FTSE 100 giant, Gregory was also chair of the remuneration committee and was a member of both the nominations and audit committees.
Jarman departs the operator just shy of two years since being appointed to the board. A KPMG-qualified chartered accountant, Jarman spent 10 years with Lazard and Co working in the investment banking team.
Barry Gibson, chairman of Entain, said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Mark and Vicky for the important contributions both have made to Entain and wish them well for the future.”
Elsewhere, Gibson recently argued that the UK needs to aim for a “gold standard” in regulation to allow it to become a world leader in responsible gambling.
He said that player safety needs to be at the heart of any future regulation, but those in charge of regulatory change need to consider the wider industry’s interest as well.
