Entain gaming innovation director departs
Matthias Ciappara exits London-listed firm after leading gamification division since May 2021

Entain director of gaming innovation Matthias Ciappara has departed the FTSE 100 firm after less than two years with the operator.
Ciappara joined Entain in May 2021 to head up its gamification division after establishing his own gamification consultancy, XperiencePlay, in November 2020.
Before that, he spent 18 months with Swintt in Malta across its SwinttGamify branch and had a spell Rush Gaming as a data analyst.
Speaking on his decision to leave Entain, Ciappara said: “Every chapter has to come to an end for a new one to start. Today is my last day working at Entain.
“It was an absolute pleasure to have been given the opportunity to lead a massive project and worked with such a large team of incredible individuals over the past two years. Especially when its products are very close to my heart.
“I’m truly excited about what the opportunities within the industry are. The need for innovation continues to grow, as do our customers’ expectations when interacting with our product offerings,” he added.
