Entain opens “workplace of the future” in Stratford
London-listed firm unveils its “collaborative, productive and innovative place to work” following revamp
Entain has opened a new office in Stratford which the FTSE 100 operator promises to be a “new workplace of the future”.
The East London office provides a 500-capacity space for Entain staff across its content creation, trading, retail and brand teams.
The new space boasts an esports player zone, media studio, sports café and wellbeing spaces.
The site also features a central grandstand to bring employees together for major internal events.
Additionally, the office runs on 100% renewable energy, bringing Entain one step closer to its commitment of becoming carbon net zero by 2035.
Entain said the office would be a “central part” in driving growth for the company.
Andy Hicks, Entain retail MD for UK and Ireland, explained the new features in the office would allow employees to excel in the environment.
He said: “We set out to develop a workplace that embodies the spirit of who we are as a global business, with innovation and collaboration at our core.
“Including features such as wellbeing spaces, collaborative hubs and the latest technology, we were able to create an environment that not only enables all of our colleagues to thrive, but also create and deliver fantastic experiences for our customers.”
Earlier this week, Entain announced an overall 34% year-on-year jump in total net gaming revenue for Q1 2022 despite slips in online gaming and sports betting revenue.
