Ex-Playtech slots specialist reveals Euphoria Studios
Guy Hasson takes aim at “saturated” market with bespoke product launches from Israel and India bases

Former Playtech and Playtika slot games specialist Guy Hasson has unveiled a new bespoke content studio.
Euphoria Studios has been launched with a focus on “on-demand content” with slots only created when services are hired by external clients.
Speaking to EGR, Hasson said a combination of a congested slots market and a need for greater player retention led to the establishment of Euphoria.
He said: “We have the growing, saturated real-money slots market. I have been advising for companies for years and I have felt their pain grow. It became more and more impossible to have their slots seen.
“Many companies believe the answer is in volume. Although that is true, I believe there are ways to make every slot stand out in such a way that even short exposure to them will bring them retention,” he added.
On retention, Hasson said shorter game cycles that revealed jackpots and features earlier were key to securing the attention of customers.
He added: “We create shorter cycles that can be anywhere from five to 10 spins, sometimes even one spin, in which players want to see what happens at the end of the cycle, or expect a chance for a big reward at the end of that cycle.
“That creates slots games which players find almost impossible to leave. Because there are always one, two or three more spins to get to something important.”
Hasson’s team is based across Israel and India.
The studio already has clients in the US, a market Hasson said was “desperately” in need of unique slots.
EGR understands Euphoria is planning to create a maximum of 40 slots titles per year, with further plans to expand output if demand rises.
