BETCLIC, THE French operator bought by Mangas Gaming last year, is to launch a mobile gaming product with Swedish mobile gaming supplier Mobenga, EGRmagazine.com can reveal exclusively.
The product will encompass all BetClic offerings available online, and will be built modularly to ‘future proof’ it and allow Mobenga to add new functions, Mobenga said.
Betclic is owned by Mangas Gaming, which also bought the Bet-at-home and Expekt brands in March 2009, seeing it join the Power 50 leading operators that year, and acquired a 60% controlling stake in European-facing operator Everest Gaming last month.
The company is the second big client win for the mobile supplier in as many months, after Mobenga launched in Australia with a contract to provide mobile gaming to Tote Tasmania last month.
In other Betclic news today, chief executive Nicolas Béraud, also the chief operating officer for Mangas, denied that the French gaming group will make job cuts at the Betclic and Expekt businesses following the sacking of Expekt chief executive Per Widerström and chief financial officer Joe Sanchez last month.
