Facebook RMG head Will Collins departs
EMEA real-money head leaves the social network after two-and-a-half years as the role shifts to Dublin arm

Facebook’s head of real-money gaming (RMG) for the EMEA region Will Collins has left after two-and-a-half years at the company, eGaming Review has learned.
Collins, who left last Friday, was responsible for managing the social network’s real-money gaming business and also oversaw the launch of Facebook RMG advertising in New Jersey.
He is now preparing to launch a new gaming consultancy company with a number of clients already believed to have signed up.
eGR understands the real-money operations for the EMEA region have now been relocated to Dublin under the leadership of head of EMEA gaming sales Tarquin Henderson.
Collins originally joined Facebook’s London-based team in November 2011 as sports and music partner manager for the EMEA region following a nine-year stint at Microsoft.
While at the multinational technology company Collins held a number of roles including senior mobile partner manager for Windows Live and MSN and business development director, advertising and online.
During his tenure at Facebook, Collins led the launch of its first RMG app Bingo Friendzy in partnership with Gamesys in August 2012, while Gibraltar-licensed operator 888 followed suit in December.
Last February also saw Bonza Gaming, a joint venture between social casino operator Plumbee and Sportingbet, launch Bonza Slots on Facebook, though Sportingbet’s share of the JV was later bought out by Unibet.
Paddy Power was the most recent operator to release a real-money app on the platform after beta-launching its social sports betting product In-Play, now Paddy Power Social, in August last year.
