
FDJ commits to upholding gender equality charter
The France-based lottery operator has joined the corporate charter of #JamaissansElles to promote gender equality


The FDJ have signed up to the charter of commitments, #JamaisSansElles, in favour of diversity.
The CEO and the 23 members of the firm’s management committee have said via the operator’s Twitter account that they will no longer participate in any public demonstration, event or media intervention that is non-mixed.
The group has also committed to making sure there is a balance of men and women at all company management levels.
The FDJ will also undertake actions favouring gender diversity as well as develop new ones to reduce the gender pay gap and promote gender diversity in recruitment and promotions.
The firm will re-evaluate the charter and amend it where necessary. It will also carry out an impact survey each year.
Finally, the group will endeavour to convey an image of equality, diversity and inclusion in all of its communications.
CEO of the FDJ, Stéphane Pallez, said: “Diversity is a societal fight that has progressed, but a lot of effort is still to be made.
“The FDJ is strongly invested in the field of gender equality. We are convinced of the need for a collective commitment at all levels of the company and in all business ,” she added.
Pallez concluded: “The #JamaisSansElles charter of the FDJ illustrates our desire to go even further in the group’s commitment. It is the fruit of collaborative work.”
