Fertitta Interactive applies for Nevada licences
CyberArts owner seeks operator and service provider licences in Silver State.

Fertitta Interactive, the US egaming company co-owned by the owners of Station Casinos, has applied for operator and service provider licences in the state of Nevada.
It is only the second company to apply for both licences, after South Point, and follows Monarch Gaming in applying for an operator licence.
Other companies applying for service provider accreditation in Nevada include Shuffle Master, IGT and Bally Technologies, while 888 is among a minority of non-US companies looking to provide software to Nevada-licensed operators. A number of other European operators and suppliers, however are known to close to submitting applications, according to a senior source connected to the gaming industry in Las Vegas.
In October, Fertitta interactive agreed to acquire CyberArts for an undisclosed sum, with co-owner Tom Breitling telling eGaming Review at the time that the deal “Positions us on the global internet gaming front, with the emphasis on poker in the US.”
That acquisition agreement came more than six months after a heavily publicised partnership between Fertitta Interactive and Full Tilt Poker, which subsequently collapsed when two principals from the then Alderney-licensed operator were indicted on Black Friday.
Fertitta Interactive founder Lorenzo Fertitta said in a statement: “Nevada has always been the leader in gaming regulation and we’re pleased to file our application here. Our goal is to provide customers with the best online gaming experience in a safe and well-regulated online environment.”
