Flutter Entertainment adds telecoms vet as procurement chief
Alex Cassettari joins FTSE 100 firm after spells in senior roles with TalkTalk and BT

Flutter Entertainment has appointed telecommunications stalwart Alex Cassettari as the operator’s new head of procurement services.
Cassettari joins the London-listed operator from BT, where he has served as a senior manager for procurement services for both the parent company and BT Sourced.
He previously spent more than 10 years with TalkTalk, having joined in 2009 as an analyst.
He earned his first senior role in January 2015 as head of revenue and margin assurance before subsequent promotions to head of finance transformation and head of procurement operations.
He will be based in London, returning to the city after working in Dublin with BT.
Speaking on LinkedIn, Cassettari said: “I’ve just started a new role at Flutter Entertainment as head of procurement services. This is a completely new industry for me after working in telecoms for more than 20 years.
“I’ve already met some great people who I’m very much looking forward to working with. So excited for the future,” he added.
Flutter has been on a recruitment drive recently with the hiring of former Paddy Power advertising manager Karen O’Rourke as chief of staff for CEO Peter Jackson as well as the appointment of ex-ASDA exec Leah Spears as Paddy Power head of brand.
