Fomer MPN operator Red Star Poker joins Playtech’s iPoker network
Playtech says it is committed to facing the challenges in the poker vertical “head on"

Red Star Poker has joined Playtech’s poker network ahead of the closure of Microgaming’s MPN platform next year.
The Red Star Poker brand has now been successfully migrated onto Playtech’s iPoker product, with the London-listed supplier pledging to increase its investment in the vertical.
Red Star Poker was a former Microgaming MPN client, along with Betsson, Paf, 32Red and 188BET.
Microgaming will wind down its MPN poker network in 2020, having claimed the network model no longer fits with its “strategic vision for poker”.
Red Star Poker was founded in 2005 and focuses on the Eastern European market.
