Footstock launches six-figure activation ahead of new season
Trading platform to offer fans a shot at £100,000 cash pot as part of major marketing drive

Footstock has unveiled a £100,000 competition as part of its marketing activation ahead of the new Premier League season.
The fantasy football mobile gambling app has already secured popular broadcaster Chris Kamara as a brand ambassador and is now set to offer players the chance to win a share of a six-figure cash pot.
Players will compete against each other throughout the 2020-21 season with a number of cash prizes available.
As well as the launch of the freeroll promotion, Footstock will also unveil a new mobile app which boasts an improved UI and design to improve player experience.
As part of Kamara’s involvement with the group, the former Portsmouth striker will lend his voice to a radio advertising campaign on talkSPORT throughout the season, with 200 ads set to be rolled out over a six-week period alone.
James Copeland, Footstock CMO, said: “Our new £100k free-to-enter fantasy contest is a great addition to the platform and we’re hoping it goes down really well with our players, particularly as at least 100 different managers will win a prize from the overall pot.
“Given talkSPORT’s sizeable audience – and our brand-new videos with Kammy – we’re expecting to make a big impact as the new season starts,” he added.
