
Former William Hill trading chief Terry Pattinson joins Superbet
Industry veteran appointed trading director of Romanian operator after 11-year spell at Hills ended in 2019


Superbet has recruited former William Hill trading chief Terry Pattinson as its new trading director.
Pattinson spent more than 11 years at William Hill, originally as head of in-play trading before a decade as group trading director.
Pattinson left Hills at the end of 2019, along with former chief information officer Paul Durkan, as CEO Ulrik Bengtsson revamped the senior management team after taking over from Philip Bowcock.
Pattinson is a highly respected industry veteran having spearheaded William Hill’s bookmaking operations for Online and retail, as well as in the emerging US gambling market.
He started in his new role at Superbet on 1 July and will share his time between the bookmaker’s offices in Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Poland, London and Leeds.
He is currently working remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As trading director, Pattinson will oversee trading strategy as the operator targets ambitious growth and will report into Superbet CEO Johnny Hartnett.
He will be responsible for core bookmaking, pricing and risk management functions, as well as trading product and tech utilising Superbet’s quantitative analysis team.
Superbet finished 45th in the EGR Power 50 for 2019.
