France Pari granted fixed-odds betting licence
Licence extension will allow operator to offer live bets for the first time.

France Pari has been granted an extension to its licence by French regulator ARJEL, allowing it to offer fixed-odds and live betting.
“This extension allows us to provide one of the most complete sports and horse betting offerings available, coupled with one of the highest sign-up bonuses available and a generous loyalty programme,” it said in a statement.
The new betting products will be available from next month. As a result of the licence extension Itechsoft Gaming, which operates Netbet.fr, has also been certified to offer fixed-odds bets by ARJEL, as France Pari supplies the site’s sportsbook platform via its B2B subsidiary Sportnco.
The company was one of the first to be granted an operating licence and was licensed to offer pari-mutuel betting in June 2010. France Pari then obtained a horse betting licence in September last year, with CEO Hervé Schlosser explaining at the time that the company was aiming to create as complete an offering as possible.
The company acquired horse racing operator Betnet in a cut-price deal in December last year, with Schlosser telling eGR : “We are setting up a horse betting product at almost no additional cost, and do not expect to deliver enormous revenues, but it is a chance to enhance our bottom line.”
It is the first announcement made by the company since it signed an agreement with Groupe Partouche to relaunch Livebetting.com, targeting the UK market, earlier this month.
