FSB Technology integrates with Bit8
Partnership sees Bit8 clients gain access to FSB's managed sports betting platform
FSB Technology’s managed sport betting product will be available to Bit8’s clients after the pair agreed a deal to integrate the sportsbook into the provider’s gaming platform.
Bit8 will offer FSB Tech, which manages the end-to-end sportsbook operation, to its client base as its preferred sports betting platform provider.
FSB Tech was launched last year by GameAccount Network founder David McDowell and currently provides its services to Genting and The Guardian newspaper.
Angelo Dalli, CEO, Bit8 said the move was a reaction to a “real demand” for a fully-managed sports betting service from its licensees.
“This partnership makes great commercial sense, it strengthens our position as a platform supplier and improves FSB’s distribution opportunities,” he said.
“FSB and Bit8 share the same philosophy “ we both offer disruptive, innovative technology to an industry that is reliant on legacy platforms,” added McDowell.
Earlier this year Sportingbet founder Mark Blandford joined FSB Technology as company chairman as part of the nascent sportsbook provider’s plan to accelerate its growth strategy, shortly after he led a £2.6m financing round for the company.
Blandford was joined by 14 other investors, while previous investors have included Betfair co-founder Andrew Black and current Ladbrokes chief executive Richard Glynn.
