Full Tilt launches affiliate programme
New programme launched in partnership with sister site PokerStars

Full Tilt Poker (FTP) has announced the launch of its affiliate programme, six months after relaunching for real-money play, offering affiliates 50% revenue share for all traffic referred before 31 July.
The programme has been launched in partnership with sister site PokerStars, and affiliates will have the opportunity to use existing PokerStars trackers to refer players to the Isle of Man- and Malta-licensed site.
Full Tilt has seen its traffic slide since going live last November, falling to fourth place for cash game traffic last month according to Pokerscout, though it has returned to second place in the rankings at the time of writing. The launch of the affiliate programme also comes as the operator steps up its search for a new chief executive.
Full Tilt’s head of marketing Sarne Lightman said the launch of the programme would allow its partners “to share in [the brand’s] growth and development, while opening up [its] tables to new players”.
Ahead of November’s relaunch, Rational Group issued a statement explaining it was not liable for affiliate earnings owed by Full Tilt from its activity before its Alderney operating licences were suspended in June 2011. The group explained its acquisition of various Full Tilt assets last year “[excluded] previous contractual agreements that Full Tilt Poker may have had with affiliates”.
Rational Group was accused last year by Power Affiliate Pokerstrategy.com of retrospectively removing tracking on players which it sent to Full Tilt before June 2011. The firm said at the time that it was “genuinely concerned that this might just be the first step in a process towards making online poker less attractive for players” who “take poker seriously”.
