FunFair launches localised B2B blockchain platform in Japan
Blockchain start-up eyes international growth for its B2B gaming platform

FunFair Technologies has localised its guaranteed fair gaming platform in Japan, making Japanese the first foreign language on its technology.
FunFair, a B2B blockchain gaming platform, was previously only available in English.
The Isle of Man-licensed firm believes the Japanese demographic is perfect for the blockchain product, stating: “This audience is tech-savvy, young, affluent and is in alignment with the guaranteed fair principles of FunFair’s core technology.”
Fred Kessler, CPO at FunFair Technologies Europe, noted that one of the major reasons for the Japanese expansion was the nation’s policy regarding cryptocurrency.
Kessler said: “We’ve been advised by our partners for some time that Japan is a great market due to its regulatory framework around cryptocurrency.
“The authorities there have been advocates of how cryptocurrency and blockchain technology will encourage growth in Japan. In fact, Japanese yen is the second largest traded currency against bitcoin after US dollar and this makes it an excellent choice for our first platform localisation,” he added.
