Gala Bingo adds lottery as diversification continues
Online bingo brand debuts new Lotto betting tab just one week after launch of its first online sportsbook

GalaBingo.com has launched a new OpenBet-powered lottery betting product as the Gala Coral subsidiary continues to expand its product portfolio, eGaming Review can reveal.
The bingo brand released its Lotto tab on Wednesday following a successful testing period and comes just one week after the addition of its female-focused sportsbook product ‘Flutter’.
The Lotto service offers fixed-odds bets on 14 lotteries worldwide including the UK National Lottery, Euro Millions, Health Lottery, Australian Oz Lotto and New York Lotto.
“Both the Lottery and Gala Bingo are national institutions,” Alison Digges, director of GalaBingo.com, said.
“We know that our players love the lottery and love entertainment so it will provide our players with even more product choice,” she added.
Like Flutter, the Lotto service includes help pages and a video tutorial to help players understand the betting process.
Gala Bingo’s OpenBet-powered sportsbook debuted last Thursday in partnership with sister company Coral Interactive in what it hoped would break down the barriers to the “macho and often impenetrable world of sports betting”.
Flutter is set to be incorporated into the Gala Bingo mobile app in the near future and includes markets on sports, politics, celebrities and TV shows.
