Gala Bingo goes live on Virtue Fusion
Company confident relaunch will "ensure GalaBingo.com regains its position as leading bingo website in the UK".

Gala Bingo has gone live on the Virtue Fusion network and revealed a complete site overhaul following its landmark 10-year contract signed with Playtech last July.
The move follows the relaunch of Gala Casino and its shift to Playtech’s iPoker network in the second quarter of this year.
The company has today also revealed a new marketing push fronted by pop star, presenter and former I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here reality show winner Peter Andre with the Australian hosting a video on the new site entitled “You’ll love the Buzz”.
Comparing the site to a “body makeover” Andre explains how the homepage has been revamped with new features such as additional promotions on player’s favourite games such as Deal or No Deal, the “largest jackpots available on any bingo site”, and hundreds more mini games, online scratchcards and slots.
The site also includes new personalised features including the ability to create your own list of favourite mini games, a “windicates” tab that allows players to create their own “bingo dream team” as well as a push towards increased loyalty with points awarded for every £1 spent on the site, increased visibility of loyalty levels and progress and shortcuts to points redemption.
In July last year Playtech signed one its largest contracts agreeing a decade-long 5m a year deal with Gala Coral to supply the group with a full range of gaming products including its IMS platform that will support the operator’s entire product range making it one of the supplier’s top three licensees. Other third party game providers to Galabingo include Ash Gaming, acquired by Playtech for around £23m in December last year, IGT, Blueprint, Endemol Gaming, Mazooma, and Next Gen Gaming.
In a statement this morning Gala called the new website “far more than a facelift”, instead referring to it as a “culmination of a large-scale, intensive research project involving extensive customer focus groups” with even the choice of Andre for the re-launch the “result of player surveys”.
Per Widerström, managing director, Gala Interactive at Gala Coral Group said he was delighted to launch the GalaBingo.com just two months after the launch of GalaCasino.com. “It is the culmination of many months of intensive customer research that I am confident will ensure that GalaBingo.com regains its position as the leading bingo website in the UK.
“We have invested significantly in migrating our websites to the state-of-the-art Playtech/Virtue Fusion platform. At the same time, we have recruited a highly capable team to run the business from our new base in Gibraltar. We are now focused on ensuring a successful re-launch of GalaBingo.com and growing the business,” he added.
Last week Gala Coral saw its latest advertisements fall foul of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). An email promotion from Gala Coral was deemed misleading for the way in which it failed to highlight certain elements of bonus offers. Gala Coral purported to offer players a 100% bonus on a £10 deposit, but did not mention a play-through requirement of £50.
