Gambling.com Group cleared for US expansion in Tennessee and Illinois
Bookies.com owner receives further accreditation to provide affiliate services to US-licensed operators

Gambling.com Group can now partner up with licensed gambling operators in Tennessee and Illinois as the firm continues to expand in the US.
The US subsidiary of parent company KAX Media this week gained approval from the Sports Wagering Committee of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation’s board of directors.
Initially valid for three years, the newly received licence is effective immediately.
Additionally, Gambling.com Group has entered Illinois, a state “rich in sporting heritage and a jurisdiction with huge potential to generate sports betting revenue”, according to the firm.
The business will provide online players in both states with reviews of online sports betting operators via flagship website Gambling.com and US-focused domain Bookies.com.
Gambling.com Group VP of US business Max Bichsel said: “The group’s latest approvals, expanding into new states, mark yet another milestone in our US strategy.
“We are excited to begin offering our services in the Volunteer State [Tennessee], which has the potential to be a leader in mobile sports betting.”
He added: “Illinois represents the sheer scale the US market offers the gaming industry. With more than 12 million people and a fervent Chicago sports fan base, the Prairie State will prove to be a significant battleground for the entire sports betting ecosystem.”
Gambling.com Group already operates affiliate services in Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Earlier in November, the Malta-registered firm reported a 52% annual rise in Q3 revenue to €6.3m.
