Oslo-listed firm completes third affiliate acquisition in a deal comprised of â¬900,000 and new shares
Malta-based Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has expanded its presence in the Nordic egaming market after completing its third major affiliate acquisition.
The deal, which completed last week, will see GIG pay â¬900,000 (£632,082) and distribute 795,000 new GIG shares for the as-yet unnamed Estonia-based network, which it expects will contribute 20,000 new depositing customers to its Innovation Labsâ B2B clients over the next three years.
âWe are pleased to conclude our third acquisition of a growing high value affiliate network in our target markets in a short timeframe,â Robin Reed, Gaming Innovation Groupâs newly appointed CEO, said.
âNot only are we increasing our capability of driving paying users to partnering operators, but we are also strengthening our online distribution channel to bundle with our platform service iGamingCloud, to the benefit of our clients,â he added.
The deal follows GIGâs recent acquisition of an unnamed Finnish affiliate network for â¬440,000 in June by its online marketing subsidiary Innovation Labs.
