Garbo CEO Marcus Nylén leaves Mr Green Group
Nylén becomes the second Mr Green Group chief exec to announce his departure in recent months
Garbo.com chief executive Marcus Nylén has left the Mr Green Group-owned casino brand, just weeks after group CEO Mikael Pawlo announced his departure, eGaming Review has learned.
A spokesperson for the firm confirmed Nylén had decided to leave the firm and said his duties would be shared around the team at Mr Green subsidiary DSRPTV Gaming Ventures with no direct replacement to be hired.
Nylén initially joined the group as chief executive of online casino Mr Green in February 2013, and it remains unclear as to whether he plans to remain in the industry.
Bo Wanghammar replaced Nylén at Mr Green in January 2014 with the latter moving sideways to lead DSRPTV, which operates female-focused casino Garbo.com and social casino subsidiary Social Thrills.
Nylén’s departure comes less than a month after Mr Green CEO Mikael Pawlo announced he plans to stand down from his position in June this year.
Pawlo, one of the three original founders of the Malta-based casino operator, will remain as a board member and the search for his successor is currently ongoing.
