
Genius Sports lands Canadian football partnership
Data giant expands presence in North America after securing commercial agreement with Mediapro Canada


Genius Sports has put pen to paper on an agreement with Mediapro Canada in a move to bring Canadian football to the global betting market.
In 2019, Mediapro Canada secured a 10-year partnership with Canada Soccer Business (CSB), the entity that represents the commercial interests of the Canadian Premier League and Canadian football.
Genius Sports will now bring data, betting and live streaming to Canadian football.
Mediapro Canada’s dedicated football streaming service, OneSoccer, will integrate Genius Sports’ live data and content into its viewing experience.
Genius Sports has also been granted the exclusive global rights to distribute live streaming from all Canadian Premier League and Canadian Championship games to its sportsbook partners.
Sportsbooks will also be afforded access to official data throughout Canadian football.
