
Genius Sports pairs with SIS for La Liga data deal
Two suppliers join forces to expand distribution network for exclusive Spanish football data

Genius Sports has signed an exclusive partnership deal with SIS to distribute official Spanish football data.
The deal will provide Genius Sports with access to the official pre-match, in-running and post-match data which the supplier will then make available to its customers around the world.
As La Liga’s official partner for the collection and distribution of live betting data since 2014, SIS has the rights to 2,500 matches covering the top three leagues and two cup competitions per season.
The two companies said the partnership would “ensure sales and reach of La Liga’s official betting data in betting markets is maximised around the world”.

“This deal reflects our ongoing commitment to working with the best official data in the market place, ensuring sports are protected and opportunities maximised,” he added.
Paul Baker, SIS strategic development director, said: “As the official, exclusive data partner with La Liga, SIS is pleased to work with Genius Sports to expand greatly the reach of our high-quality, low latency data distribution.”
Last month, Betgenius merged with data management firm SportingPulse, with the enlarged firm rebranded as Genius Sports.
