Genting UK restructures business to boost multichannel offering
Malaysia-owned firm appoints new MD for online business

Genting UK President Paul Willcock has today announced a restructuring of the business as part of the company’s strategy to develop an improved multi-channel offering.
Mark Sergeant, the former managing director of Gala Casinos, has been appointed as managing director of the provincial casino estate, with responsibility for the online business – Genting Alderney – as well.
As part of the reshuffle, Peter Nolan, the current managing director of Genting Alderney, has left the business with immediate effect.
Willcock said: “Our strategy is to develop a compelling multi-channel experience for our customers across our retail estate, online and mobile platforms.
“I would like to thank Peter Nolan for the great work he has done building our online business. We are now focusing on converging the two businesses together under the guidance of Mark Sergeant.”
The restructuring marks the latest effort by the Malaysia-owned casino brand to improve its online offering, after the group unveiled two new bespoke live casino studios for GentingCasino.com earlier this year.
The firms also introduced a new payments system which enables customers to withdraw online balances from any of its UK casinos.
