GeoComply awarded Nevada licence
Geolocation specialist also pursuing accreditation in New Jersey

US-based geolocation firm GeoComply has been awarded a Nevada egaming licence after securing approval from the state’s Gaming Control Board and Gaming Commission.
The company, which this year agreed a deal to incorporate its technology into fellow Nevada licensee Bally’s iGaming Platform, has been granted a service provider licence in the Silver State. It is the second geolocation provider to be awarded such a licence this month, after Aristotle International.
GeoComply chief executive Anna Sainsbury (pictured) described the award of the licence as “A big step in our continued commitment to the evolving North American iGaming market”.
The company has also filed its application for licensure in New Jersey, where it hopes to provide similar geolocation services to operators and service providers as the state prepares to issue its first online gambling licences before the end of the year.
The receipt of a Nevada licence follows the firm’s agreement with Locaid, signed in April, which will allow operators to access the various services of both companies simultaneously.
